We all make judgments about people who we do not know, everyday. Everybody makes comments about entertainers, politicians, murderers, suspects, neighbors, people you pass on the street. Many of our judgments are made from video commentaries involving a certain party, and/or written documents quoting statements made by that party. It is human instinct to discern who appears safe, who is telling the truth, who is lying, or could harm us.

As I said in another post, you did not have to ‘meet’ Casey in order to make a determination as to her mental health. Many times the Courts allow testimony, of expert witness to be admitted, in lieu of an actual interview between the parties. This is common practice when enough material (video, written, witness statements), exists.

In the Anthony case we have a plethora of such information. Casey loves the camera. The problem with Casey is that she cannot keep quiet. This has allowed us all to take a close look into the mind of sociopath, or as now referred to as APD. One does not have to meet her, to diagnose her.

Under the criteria for BEAN, an interview is not necessary, in lieu of all of the above available data. Just accept the fact that we are all subjected to the opinion of others, daily. This time, however, is different in that an expert in the field, was used to make the determination, coupled with the available documentation, which is acceptable in a Court of law.

Who are we to question the Courts? Nobody.

The above comments are likely subjective comments, i.e., friends, family (hmmm).

Your assessment of Casey, imo, is excellent! One does not have to meet the subject, when so much of who the subject is, and what they are about, is on the television every other day. It is quite easy to assess somebody who loves the camera,…drama, drama, drama (sounds like part of your profile). She loves it.

Hannibal Lector – LOL I posted this – because I found it interesting , but I wasnt impressed because – like you have said – how can one be profile without a meeting that struck me as strange

They compared her to Hannibal Lecter and Jason Voorhees? LOL!

In my opinion as a criminologist, I do not believe that a comparison between a real person and a fictional criminal has any validity. Furthermore, since the person who entered the data has apparently never met Ms. Anthony, I must question the validity of the input data as well. As the old saying goes when dealing with computers, “garbage in, garbage out.”

It is, however, interesting in a sickly amusing way (I have a weird sense of humor, I admit), so I do very much appreciate that you have posted it.
