Casey Anthony Wants To Search For Caylee Without Public Knowing Details

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Caylee Anthony has been reported missing for 82 days now and detectives say she’s dead, but now her mother is taking some interest in searching for her.

The revelation came from court papers filed by Casey Anthony’s attorney Monday

Jose Baez wants all kinds of reports and documents, from lab tests, polygraphs, her computer and phone records, and he even wants training records of the officers and service records for the equipment.

Casey spent Monday afternoon at her attorney’s office after checking in with her case manager at the jail. She strutted away from her meeting with her case manager at the jail Monday, with no sunglasses and heavy eye makeup.

Casey’s attorney hopes to convince Circuit Judge Stan Strickland on Friday to allow Casey to travel secretly to “places of interest” in the case to “assist with the search of missing child, Caylee Anthony.” But Baez also asks in the motion that “due to the sensitive nature of this Motion, the Defense requests that the date and time of such travel not be public.

One of the reasons Casey is on house arrest for child neglect is because she did nothing to find her daughter and apparently still hasn’t.

Anthony’s attorney also wants access to the evidence from the car Casey was driving when Caylee disappeared. He’s trying to pull that evidence into the child neglect case so his expert can get to it.

In the motion, Baez makes the following argument: “Certainly, evidence that the very daughter the defendant is accused of having neglected may have been dead in the trunk of the defendant’s vehicle is a critical fact in a trial for child neglect.
“
Baez also wants records pertaining to any Zenaida Gonzalez investigators have questioned in their search for the alleged nanny.

Baez says he’s entitled to all the information because Casey has suffered the public’s hatred and that “law enforcement or the State Attorney’s Office has successfully tried a homicide case against the defendant in the public eye.

Casey hasn’t yet asked to go to Friday’s hearing on the filed motions.

Attorneys Want Casey Anthony To Be Permitted To Visit “Places Of Interest”

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Attorneys for Casey Anthony, who’s suspected in the disappearance of her 3-year-old daughter Caylee, will go to court Friday to try to convince a judge to allow them to take Casey to “places of interest” in her case without the public knowing about it.

Casey must get prior permission from the jail to leave her house and that schedule is public record.

Casey’s attorney also wants the judge to halt all lab testing so he can have a say in where and how it’s done and he’s demanding access to Casey’s car and all kinds of computer, polygraph and DNA lab test records.

Jose Baez said he’s trying to get access to the DNA evidence, even though there’s no indication prosecutors will use that evidence to show Casey neglected Caylee by not reporting her disappearance for a month and by not searching for her.

We have a black aging arthritic ex football player who killed two people, and we have a young white lady who has only killed one person. About the only thing in common is the legal system. It is no wonder that the legal profession is held in such low esteem. One of my favorite jokes, someone mentioned this the other day.. ‘So what do you say when a cruise ship sinks, and it has 5000 lawyers on it, there are no survivors?’… ‘A good start’ my young friend informed me.

I have nothing against the legal profession, other than the fact that in my 30 plus years of working in the Computer industry, I would not ever dream of doing work in a law office. Lawyers are dead beats when it comes to paying their own bills. The only way I would ever go fix a Lawyers computer was if he payed up front, and signed a waver that he would not sue me. Oh, and I bill in 6 minute increment, and if I think about the problem while in the shower, or drinking a coffee, thats billable as well!

The disappearance, and likely death of a small defenseless 3 year old, Caylee Anthony has created a countrywide outcry. What happened to this little girl? Mother Casey Anthony has been upgraded from ‘person of interest’ to ‘prime suspect’, yet she still has her freedom. This young lady, who almost everyone other than her mother calls her a pathological liar, seems to be skating on some magical ice.

Yes, everyone deserves to have legal representation, even Sadam Hussein had a lawyer. Casey Anthony has no money, and apparently her car smells of dead people, so that precludes using it as collateral. But, there is always some ‘ambulance chaser’ looking to make it to the big time. Enter Jose Baez, in my opinion, this fine upstanding member of the legal community has the smarts of a slug. I can just imagine his previous cases. No doubt he ekes out a living defending hookers… “Your honor, my client is not a prostitute, she was legally selling condoms and offered a free demonstration”.

Jose Baez has made a huge mistake taking the Casey Anthony case, and an even bigger mistake in a comment he made today. It is one thing making dumb comments when defending the local hoodlum, it is entirely a different thing when the world asks “Why doesn’t Casey Anthony just tell what she knows”? Mr (I am not so smart) Baez replies

“It is not in my clients best interest to tell what she knows”.

This was such a dumb statement, and a statement that will come back to haunt Mr Baez, oh Jose, I hear they are hiring at McDonald’s, you might need to downsize from the BMW to a KIA, but I hear the benefits are good.

Caylee Anthony: The end may be near for Casey Anthony!

Recorded jail tapes between Casey Anthony and her mother Cindy reveal a lot about Casey’s deteriorating frame of mind.  It would appeared that Casey is quickly coming unraveled.  I can see this case possible coming to some conclusion in 48 – 72 hours.  Casey is making comments that to me as an interrogator appears to be some chinks in her denial armor.

Significant comments by Casey:
1. In her gut she feels Caylee is okay.  Some big denial on her part?  Trying to convince herself that she’s not responsible for Caylee disappearance and possible death?
2. She feels that Caylee is nearby or near her home.  Caylee may very well be found very close to home.  If she is it’ll be someplace that Casey is very familiar with and / or has been there several times.

I’d really start working on these two comments by Casey.  I think they may be the keys to getting an admission or confession.

Now there are indications that Casey felt trapped by being the mother of Caylee, that she as interfering with her relationship with her boyfriend.  As I said in my previous post.  If Casey harmed this child it was all because of her focus on herself and what SHE wants.

Just some more thoughts as this case unfolds.

Casey Anthony’s Lawyer Asks To Inspect Evidence

ORLANDO — The mother of missing 3-year-old Caylee Anthony will be in court on Friday as her attorney files a number of motions in Casey Anthony’s child neglect case.

In total, Anthony’s attorney, Jose Baez, filed eight motions.

Among them, Baez asked to inspect, test and photograph all evidence collected by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office and to look at all results detectives have already received.

Anthony’s attorney also asked to see all records from the Department of Children and Family in regards to Caylee, and all documents relating to Zenaida Gonzalez — the babysitter Casey said she gave Caylee to.

Baez is also asking to see a passenger list for AirTran Airways flight 862 on July 2 to Atlanta. The family said they got a tip that Caylee was on that flight.

Baez is also asking to see all polygraph tests done by deputies.

Finally, they are asking the court to allow Casey to leave her home so she can help in search efforts for Caylee.
